Description
Cuervo, New Mexico…the kind of place you slam on the breaks for, make an illegal U turn, and stomp through rattle snake territory to get to. That is just what I did. As I was shooting this series, an older gentleman walked by on the dusty trail. He mentioned that the rattlesnakes were moving today. Guess I was lucky!

Lee, this is a very touching image of life in the desert back country of New Mexico. I lived in NM for a decade, and I saw such homes; I even lived in one! You have captured this image so well! And I love the entire gallery; it is filled with marvelous images of times past! l/f

I love these too! The picket fence makes me think of the ghosts of a family, children running around!

Love these Cuervo pieces - even in the bright sun there is a mood of abandonment and loss. Such a clear sky - love the angle of the fence too Lee. F/V
