Description
The historic U.S. Route 66 ran from west to northeast across the U.S. state of Oklahoma, along the path now taken by Interstate 40 and State Highway 66. This photo was taken at Erick, Oklahoma, billed as the Red Neck Capitol of the World by the folks who run the Sandhills Curiosity Shop, located smack-dab on the Mother Roadthe place where the voice of Mater in the film Cars (Larry the Cable Guy) got his hillbilly accent.

What a wonderful capture of Harley! I'm so glad you posted this. Harley was visiting Annabelle in the hospital when we were in Erick, so we didn't get to meet them or go inside the shop. The locals spoke very highly of them. Them seem like wonderful people. A favorite image!!!
Lee Craig replied:
Harley is a one of a kind...was very friendly and welcomed having his picture taken. They both seemed like really great people. Thanks!
