Description
This work is an actual photography with very minimal enhancement. Something about the shape of the pattern brought to mind the famous song, Ghost Riders in the Sky, written in 1948 by Stan Jones and recorded over the years by over one hundred artists. As a child, Jones had heard the legend of the “devil’s herd” while sitting in the desert watching a storm in Cochise County , Arizona. He later wrote the famous song. I found this bit of rust in the desert of Arizona. I see the rider hunched over the neck of his horse, the horse with its head raised as it strains. What do you see?

I am a big fan of the colors (copper and rust) in this image. Great color scheme such earthy tones. The textures pop out of the page. beautifully captured and so creative.. sharing
