Description
The historic U.S. Route 66 ran from west to northeast across the U.S. state of Oklahoma, along the path now taken by Interstate 40 and State Highway 66. This photo was taken near Erick, Oklahoma, billed as the Red Neck Capitol of the World, located smack-dab on the Mother Road…the place where the voice of Mater in the film “Cars” (Larry the Cable Guy) got his hillbilly accent.

Love this image Lee! There is such a story and sense of ambition to this old, rusty, broken, and abandoned tricycle.
