Love the way the wooden part of the wheel has disintegrated while the steel rim holds it's shape; feels like the arid dusty frontier

Artist's Description

In the 1800s and early 1900s, carpenters and wood workers were in demand for the construction of counters, display cases, and furniture repair as well as new buildings. The carpenter work shop was often located next to a large lumber yard. Carts like this one and larger, were used to haul the wood from the lumber yard to the shop or job site. In my gallery, Pieces of Past, you will find the work bench, hand tools, and a treadle lathe.

This and the other works in my portfolio and galleries are suitable for home and business d￿r. Please browse my work to find the perfect piece for your needs. Many of the images are available in several size formats. The Fine Art America logo and watermark does not appear on your purchased art.
I welcome your visits, comments, pins and tweets. Come back often as new work is added regularly. All images are copyrighted by Lee Craig. Copying, altering or displaying without the artists permission is prohibited. Thank you for visiting!

You'll see from my various collections that although I sometimes follow the same path as many others, I most often take a road or trail less travelled. I may start the journey with one goal in mind and find myself at the end of the day having wandered far from the planned and beaten path. The art in my collections is all suitable for home and business settings and venues. It is available...
