Artist's Description
In the 1800s and early 1900s, carpenters and wood workers were in demand for the construction of counters, display cases, and furniture repair as well as new buildings. The carpenter work shop was often located next to a large lumber yard. Carts like this one and larger, were used to haul the wood from the lumber yard to the shop or job site. In my gallery, Pieces of Past, you will find the work bench, hand tools, and a treadle lathe.

About Lee Craig

You'll see from my various collections that although I sometimes follow the same path as many others, I most often take a road or trail less travelled. I may start the journey with one goal in mind and find myself at the end of the day having wandered far from the planned and beaten path. The art in my collections is all suitable for home and business settings and venues. It is available...
