The Painted Fern...my favorite of all the ferns in the shade garden. Each spring I watch for it to begin its growth. It never disappoints.

I am a photographer and visual artist, enjoying the freedom that comes with doing something that I love for a living. I often jokingly refer to myself as a recovering portrait, event and commercial photographer. Several times a year I leave the studio behind. I load the equipment and head out on the open road with camera in hand and photos in mind.
